Summer Salute 2026: What to Expect at This Year's Charity Car Show
Summer Salute is back. Northern Nevada's premier charity car show returns this summer, and it's shaping up to be one of the best yet. If you haven't been before, here's what you need to know. If you have, here's what's new.
What Is Summer Salute?
Summer Salute is an annual charity car show organized through the Nevada Car Coalition. It brings together classic cars, modern muscle, food vendors, live music, and a community that genuinely cares about giving back. All proceeds support Honor Flight Nevada and the Veterans Guest House, two organizations that serve our veterans in meaningful ways.
When and Where
Summer Salute takes place in Reno, NV during the summer months. The show is open to all makes and models, and spectator admission is free. Whether you're bringing a car or just coming to look, you'll find a welcoming atmosphere and plenty to see.
What to Expect
Expect rows of beautifully maintained classic cars, live music throughout the day, food vendors serving everything from barbecue to ice cream, and a community atmosphere that makes this more than just a car show. It's a celebration of car culture and community service, and it's one of the events that defines Northern Nevada's car scene.
How to Get Involved
If you want to show a car, register through the Nevada Car Coalition Facebook page. If you want to volunteer, reach out through the same channel. And if you just want to come out and enjoy the show, mark your calendar. Summer Salute is the kind of event that reminds you why car culture matters.
